Ingelise Giles

Ingelise Giles earned her Bachelor of Science in Geography from University of Manchester in the United Kingdom and her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Science Education from University of Texas, Arlington. She holds Florida Professional Teacher Certifications in Mathematics (grades 6-12), Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum (grades 5-9), Biology (grades 6-12), Earth-Space Science (grades 6-12) and ESOL Endorsement. She served as a middle school teacher at Key Largo School for six years and as a Master Teacher for Connections Education for three years. In 2008 she was recognized with the DCAT Making a Difference Award by the National Science Teachers Association. Professor Giles is passionate about STEM Education because “Teaching is by far the most meaningful and fulfilling career that I can imagine.
